Buttercream Frosting (cooked)

10:50 PM

Oh please. Don't be surprised as I prefer the cooked Buttercream Frosting.

Why?
The answer was simple. Because it's not too sweet.

So if you like the not too sweet frosting, you may try my recipe. But if not, you may close the tab and not continue reading my post. You may search for another recipe of Buttercream Frosting.

We are very health conscious that's why I searched for something that is not too sweet frosting. Though there is doubt, honestly. But I tried. And there is. I found one and I want to share it to anyone who's interested in this.

Here we go.

Ingredients

1 cup of Milk
4 tablespoon of Flour
1 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
1 cup of Sugar
1 cup of Butter

For the Butter, I choose the Butter-licious.
Procedure

1. Whisk together flour and milk in a small saucepan. Place saucepan on a low heat. Whisking continuously for 3 to 4 minutes until it forms like pudding. Remove from heat.
Cool to room temperature.

2. Using the Electric Mixer, beat together the Butter and Sugar until white and creamy for about 4 minutes.
3. In a flour-milk mixture, mix in the Vanilla Extract. Beat using the electric mixer.
4. Pour the milk-flour mixture to batter mixture and beat for about 2 minutes or until well combined.

The Frosting must be smooth, light, fluffy and delicious.

Here's my sample design using the buttercream frosting:
