Peanut Butter Cheesecake

10:08 PM

Hey, guys! Welcome to my Blog!

For this post, I want to share the recipe of my very own Peanut Butter Cheesecake.

I've tried this a couple of times already. Actually, I keep in mind that I will definitely make a Cheesecake for every special occasion like Christmas or New Year. My first attempt was not that perfect. Same as the second one. I can't remember the reason why I didn't make it (I guess it's because of momnesia). But I didn't give up. As the saying goes, Practice makes Perfect :)

I can't believe making Cheesecake were super easy pala when I master the procedure. So here I am sharing my very own Cheesecake. Just choose the flavor of your choice. What I have made so far was Oreo Cheesecake, Blueberry Cheesecake, and Peanut Butter Cheesecake.

made this for my son's 4th Birthday, July 9, 2015
made this last year for New Year's Eve, Dec. 31, 2014
I must say that the ingredients were kind of pricey but the taste was priceless!

Ingredients:

For the Crust

1 pack of Graham Crackers Crumbs
6 tablespoon of Butter, melted
1/3 cup of Sugar
1/2 cup of Oatmeal (Optional)

Fillings

24 oz of Cream Cheese

You can choose which brand of Cream Cheese you like the most
1 cup of Sugar
1 cup of yogurt or Sour Cream

2 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
3 large Eggs
1/2 cup of Peanut Butter, Creamy

Toppings
Pesto Cream Peanut Butter Flavor

2. In a pan, toast the Oatmeal (optional)
3. In a bowl, mix together the Graham, Sugar and toasted Oatmeal.  Mix in the melted butter. Mix together until well combined.
4. In a springform pan, put in the graham mixture. Using your bare clean hands or the spoon, pat the graham mixture until well combined (please see image below)

By the way, please put a foil under the round pan like in the image above. You may know why later :)
5. Bake for 7 minutes.
6. Transfer Crust to rack and cool. Maintain Oven Temperature.

Make Fillings

1. Using the Electric Mixer, beat cream cheese and sugar in large bowl until well blended for at least 3 minutes.
2. Beat in Yogurt or Sour cream. Add eggs one at a time. Beating just until well combined. Beat in Vanilla and Peanut Butter.
3. Pour filling into crust.
4. Place Springform pan in a large square pan (see image below). Pour enough hot water into the pan at least 1 inch of height.

5. Bake Cheesecake until center and top slightly puffed and golden brown, at least 1 hour.
6. Turn off oven. Keep the door closed. Let cheesecake stand in oven for 1 hour. Remove cheesecake in a pan and refrigerate until cold for 2 hours. Cover, refrigerate it overnight.

The next day.

Remove Cheesecake from the Springform Pan.

How to remove?
First, run small sharp knife around the sides of the cake to loosen. Second, release the pan sides. Transfer cake into platter or cake board.

You may use the Buttercream frosting itself or add a flavor of Peanut Butter into the mixture of the frosting.

Tadaa..

Now, add the toppings.

Ready for delivery.

Oh and by the way, I also made a Raspberry Cheesecake. All of these flavors are super-licious.

Happy Baking! Enjoy!
